National Science Day-2026
The Department of Physics organized the National Science Day on 16th March 2026 at the Kupwara Campus, commemorating the discovery of the Raman Effect by the eminent Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28th February 1928. The event was convened under the guidance of the Director of the Campus, Prof. Mubhasir H. Masoodi.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Executive Officer, Kupwara, who attended as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Qudsia Gani, who delivered the keynote address as the Guest Speaker. In this event, 14 students from the various Higher Secondary Schools and High Schools nearby the campus participated in a PowerPoint presentation competition.
