The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, University of Kashmir, Prof. Nilofer Khan, led the  Tiranga Rally at the Kupwara Campus as part of the Independence Day celebrations.

The rally was joined by Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Shariefuddin Pirzada, Registrar Prof. Naseer Iqbal, Prof. Pervez Ahmed,  Director Kupwara Campus: Prof. Mubashir Masoodi, Prof. G. M. Rather, Prof. Imtiaz A. Khan, Dr. Ashfaq Zarri, Mr. Altaf Ahmad and Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, along with faculty members, non-teaching staff and students.

The enthusiastic participation of the teaching faculty, non-teaching staff and students reflected a strong spirit of patriotism, national unity and collective responsibility. The rally celebrated the nation’s spirit of independence while reaffirming the University community’s commitment to the values of unity, harmony and national pride
