I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Kashmir, Kupwara Campus. I completed my Ph.D. in Physics from Aligarh Muslim University in 2019. Following my Ph.D., I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at IIT Bombay and later joined the University of Kashmir as a SERB National Post Doctoral Fellow. My research is in theoretical high-energy physics, with a particular interest in Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) at high energies, Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) parton distributions, small-(x) evolution, gluon saturation, and the Color Glass Condensate framework. I am especially interested in understanding the internal structure of hadrons and the dynamics of gluons at high energies, including azimuthal asymmetries in particle production and their connection to the physics that will be explored at the upcoming Electron-Ion Collider (EIC).
