I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Kashmir, Kupwara Campus. I received my Ph.D. in Non-equilibrium Quantum Physics from the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Bengaluru, and subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. My research interests span quantum transport, open quantum systems, and nonequilibrium quantum many-body physics, with a particular focus on topological materials, quantum dephasing, and transport phenomena. My work combines analytical and computational approaches to address fundamental problems in condensed matter physics and has been published in leading international journals.
